Music By The Sea is a fantastic music festival that’s held each year in Swanage – with 2023 marking the third year of the festival! The music festival is taking place on September 2nd and has a brilliant variety of acts performing, including the world-famous British band ‘Toploader’ who arguably is best known for the hit ‘Dancing in The Moonlight’.
The Music By The Sea festival was originally founded as a celebration of the lives of two local lads from Swanage, Henry Searle and William Paddy, who sadly passed away. If you’re interested in finding out more about the message behind this festival, we recommend visiting #Willdoes, which is a charity focusing on helping young people cope with their mental and physical health.
As well as the fantastic line up of entertainment acts, there will also be a wide range of food and drink stalls available on the day – including refreshments from local businesses such as ‘The Isle of Wight Distillery‘, ‘Purbeck Cider‘ and ‘The Salt Pigg Too‘.
The festival is being hosted this year at the Prince Albert Gardens in Swanage between the hours of 11:00 am to 21:00 pm (no entry after 18:00 pm).
Tickets start from £15 for adults living in the postcode area of BH19/20, whilst it is £20 for all other adults. Children under the age of 14 can receive free tickets.
