Whilst Ulwell Holiday Park is closed for the winter, our very own on site bar and restaurant is getting a refit. We are busy refurbishing the whole of The Village Inn, to create a brand new look and feel. Our family friendly pub in Swanage will soon be open to guests at our popular camping and caravanning site, as well as families not staying on the park.
Nautical themed decor
The new interior will have a distinctly nautical feel, with a soft colour palette of blues, whites and natural wood. We’re hoping to create eye catching statement features, with themed wall paper and ship port holes, salvaged from a shipwreck in Swanage Bay.
One of the main aims of our refit is to create an open plan space that can be enjoyed by our visitors throughout the year. Whether you’re popping in for a light bite and refreshing drink on a hot summers day, or a warming meal in the middle of winter.
Socialise with friends
The restaurant, bar, family area and toilets are all getting the special treatment. Take a look at what we have in store for you. We’re especially proud of the new fire feature – it’s the perfect spot to get comfy and socialise with friends.
The new bar area will be stocked with a range of local ales and our chefs will be cooking up a storm in the kitchen, serving a new menu using locally sourced produce.
Dog friendly pub in Swanage
Once we re-open we will be pleased to welcome visitors with dogs in our bar area. Families will also be welcome, with facilities on site, including an outdoor play area.
Throughout the project we’ve been working with a dream team of brilliant tradesmen, who have been working hard to bring our plans to life. Doors have been removed, new toilets fitted, new windows installed, and complete redecoration throughout. The space has been rearranged to be much more open than before.
If all goes to plan the new look Village Inn will reopen at the beginning of March, to coincide with the start of the 2018 season at our Swanage Holiday Park. We can’t wait to welcome you into our newly refurbished bar and restaurant, to see what you think of our hard work!
