We also have a brilliant onsite shop, laundrette, shower block, bar, and restaurant for your convenience. Our restaurant, The Village Inn, has excellent options for families with young children. Children’s and smaller portion options are available throughout the day and a highchair is available upon request.
Things to do in Swanage
As we’re getting closer to summer, plenty of amazing activities and events are available for children in Swanage. Enjoy the waters and clean sandy bays at Swanage beach or go for a walk along the South West Coast Path with your family.
We recommend taking your children to the famous Corfe Castle to participate in The Corfe 4 Kids Treasure Trail. This treasure trail encourages your children to explore the grounds whilst also solving the treasure hunt. It can easily be completed in a few hours and is ideal for children who are nine and above – and for parents who want to get involved in the treasure hunt too!
Putlake Adventure Farm is another brilliant place to take younger children. With an excellent soft play area and scenic views, children are free to enjoy themselves in the ball pits, tunnels, and slides. At Putlake Adventure Farm, there is also the opportunity to participate in feeding and petting the animals.
