May Half Term Holidays

Ulwell Holiday Park is the perfect place to bring your family this May half-term. Enjoy everything that Dorset offers, from gorgeous beaches to The Tank Museum!

Are you stuck for ideas on what to do with your family during the May half-term? Why not consider staying with us at Ulwell Holiday Park? Our location in Swanage is the perfect base from which to explore local attractions. Discover all that Dorset has to offer, such as Corfe Castle, the local beaches, The Tank Museum, Monkey World, and so much more.

Here at Ulwell, we have a wide selection of accommodation available for short and extended breaks – choose from our touring and camping pitches, holiday homes and glamping accommodation. Coastal camping breaks can be fun for the whole family, especially during this time of year as the days are only getting longer and warmer.

Our family-friendly holiday park has a variety of facilities on offer to keep children entertained – including a large play park, playing fields and indoor swimming pool. We also have a brilliant onsite shop, laundrette, shower block, bar, and restaurant for your convenience. Our restaurant, The Village Inn, has excellent options for families with young children. Children’s and smaller portion options are available throughout the day and a highchair is available upon request.

Things to do in Swanage

As we’re getting closer to summer, plenty of amazing activities and events are available for children in Swanage. Enjoy the waters and clean sandy bays at Swanage beach or go for a walk along the South West Coast Path with your family.

We recommend taking your children to the famous Corfe Castle to participate in The Corfe 4 Kids Treasure Trail. This treasure trail encourages your children to explore the grounds whilst also solving the treasure hunt. It can easily be completed in a few hours and is ideal for children who are nine and above – and for parents who want to get involved in the treasure hunt too!

Putlake Adventure Farm is another brilliant place to take younger children. With an excellent soft play area and scenic views, children are free to enjoy themselves in the ball pits, tunnels, and slides. At Putlake Adventure Farm, there is also the opportunity to participate in feeding and petting the animals.

What our guests say

  • A lovely quiet site

    Andy Blackwell

A lovely quiet site, nice warm amenities with good sized shower cubicles, shop not open yet as it’s too early but the local pub is ideal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If you’re reasonably fit you can walk into Swanage but the bus service is great so why would you want to. Overall a very nice break, we will be back.

  • Super swimming pool

    Joseph Molford

Fantastic site, we have had a brilliant holiday. Super swimming pool and changing facilities. Site really handy to get to Swanage and Studland. Will definitely return. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely holiday.

We have just returned back from our weeks stay at Ulwell Holiday Park with our 2 small children and dog. It was an absolute brilliant week! The site has everything you need, and more! A lovely comfy pub on site for drinks and a bowl of chips, a small shop, swimming pool, large play are with park, and the bus stops right outside.. what more could you want

  • Easter break

We have just returned after a brilliant Easter break. Couldn’t fault anything at all and we didn’t want to leave. We didn’t visit the pub but the shop is stocked with local produce and essentials. The facilities are great and the location convenient. Our van was spotless and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back
