Electric Car Charging Point
Visiting coastal and countryside areas can be worry for electric vehicle owners – especially if you’ve never visited before. To alleviate potential range anxiety, we’ve invested in two electric car charging points for guests visiting with electric vehicles. Our electric car charging points take the worry out of finding somewhere to charge an electric vehicle in Swanage.
Simply plug your car in when you return to Ulwell Holiday Park after a busy day exploring the beautiful Jurassic Coast! You can also top up ahead of the long journey home.
Electric vehicle charging in Swanage
Our electric car charging points are situated opposite our amenities block in two clearly marked bays. They are available for camping, touring and caravan guests to use during a stay at Ulwell Holiday Park in Swanage.
Our electric car charging points have 7.2 KW output and can accommodate up to two cars at any given time. We please ask that you remove your vehicle from the electric car charging area within fifteen minutes of your car’s battery becoming fully charged. This rule is in place to ensure everyone that needs to can use the facility.
Please note, if you fail to remove your vehicle after fifteen minutes warning an additional fee to be added to your booking.
How do I charge my electric vehicle?
We have EVopen electric car chargers provided by ROLECV. To charge your electric vehicle using our EVopen chargers, simply follow the steps below:
- Check Availability: Before driving to our electric charging points, check Ulwell Holiday Park’s chargers availability on the Monta App.
- Connect Your Vehicle: Connect your vehicle to our electric chargers using an EV charging cable.
- Select and Confirm Charger: To select your charger, simply scan the QR code on the charger using your smartphone. If you having difficulty scanning the QR, you can enter the charger’s ID into the Monta App. Once you have selected your charger, simply select how much charge you require and follow the app instructions to make a payment to confirm the vehicle’s charge.
- End Charge: To end your electric vehicle’s charge, press ‘End Charging Session’ in the App, or simply unhook the EV charging cable from your vehicle and then from the charger.
Our electric vehicle charging is for Ulwell Holiday Park and Village Inn guests only.
