October Half Term Holidays
If you’re thinking about planning a family getaway this October Half Term, consider a break at Ulwell Holiday Park in Swanage. Our family friendly holiday park is the ideal destination for an autumn getaway, close to the Dorset countryside and coast.
There are plenty of award-winning attractions on our doorstep as well as a host of natural beauty spots to explore. We even have an indoor heated swimming pool on-site, great for if the weather takes a turn for the worse.

Our holiday homes are well-equipped with everything you’ll need for a self-catering break this October Half Term. In addition to homely bedrooms and spacious living areas, all our static caravans have double glazing and central heating, so that you have a cosy base to return to at the end of a busy day.
If you’re visiting in a touring caravan or motorhome, you’ll enjoy generous sized pitches in scenic grounds. We have excellent amenities to ensure you have a comfortable stay.

Swanage attractions
October Half Term is the perfect time of year to enjoy a holiday in Swanage. It’s quieter than the summer months, but there’s still plenty to see and do. If you don’t want to travel far, Swanage town centre is a 20 minute walk from the park. The pretty seaside resort has plenty to offer visitors, including the award-winning beach, Durlston Country Park and the Swanage Railway. Putlake Farm, Monkey World, Blue Pool and the Tank Museum are all within easy reach by car.
The scenery surrounding our park looks fantastic as the leaves change colour. Wrap up warm and head out into the great outdoors to make the most of the fantastic walks on our doorstep. From the park you can walk to Old Harry Rocks and beaches of Studland. Head up the hill and follow the Purbeck ridge-line to see the historic ruins of Corfe Castle!
