We’re looking for a part time lifeguard to join the team at Ulwell Holiday Park based in Swanage. Ulwell is a busy family friendly holiday park with a popular indoor swimming pool with toddler pool and slide. The pool is open to holiday park guests as well as owners and members of the wider Swanage community. We hold regular swimming lessons here throughout the year.
Ensuring guests are safe is our utmost priority. We’re looking for someone to help us uphold the high standards for which we’ve earned an excellent reputation over the years.
Desired experience:
Applicants must have previous lifeguard experience and hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or willing to undertake training. The successful candidate must be hard working, diligent, approachable and committed to creating a safe environment for customers enjoying our leisure facilities.
We take great pride in our customer service. As such, we’re looking for confident individuals who are comfortable talking to visitors. You will be required to correct pool users behaviour, where necessary in a polite and friendly manner.
You should also have understanding of relevant health and safety procedures.
Job Duties:
- Ensure pool users are safe and acting in accordance with the pool rules
- Ensure the pool, toilets and changing area are maintained to a high standards
- Make sure swimmers adhere to strict health and safety measures whilst using the pool and surrounding area
Job Type: Part time. Will include some weekend and bank holiday work
Salary: Competitive rates of pay depending on experience.
Experience: Previous lifeguard experience and qualifications preferred. Training can be given to the right candidate
