Ulwell Holiday Park is a favourite destination for families looking for a camping holiday in Swanage. Our Swanage campsite is set in an idyllic location, boasting spectacular views over the Purbeck Hills and surrounding countryside. Ulwell Holiday Park is just a short walk from Swanage beach and within easy reach of some of Dorset’s best loved attractions. The famed Jurassic Coastline, Poole harbour, Corfe Castle and Studland Bay are all nearby.
Spacious and level grass pitches
Our established holiday park has earned a fantastic reputation, with many guests choosing to return to our campsite with their families year on year. Our tenting pitches are spacious, level and equipped with electric hook up for your convenience. The camping pitches are up to 9m x 6m in length and suitable for a range of tent styles and sizes. Our standard grass pitches can accommodate a maximum of 6 people and 1 vehicle per pitch. We kindly ask that you let our reception team know the approximate dimensions of your tent at the time of booking.
We also have 1 all-weather bark chipping pitch and a number of ‘hike tent’ pitches, which are designed for one or two-man tents. These smaller pitches accommodate a maximum of 2 people and are the perfect choice if you’re visiting Ulwell Holiday Park for a walking or cycling holiday. Hiking pitches are located in the grassed area of our site with 10amp electric hook up.
Dog friendly campsite
Our Swanage holiday park is the perfect choice for visitors wanting to enjoy a camping holiday with their dogs. Our perfect location offers a range of scenic dog walks from the park and a number of dog friendly beaches are nearby. Our dog friendly camping pitches can accommodate a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch.
Camping facilities
Guests can enjoy use of our pristine facilities during a stay at Ulwell Holiday Park. Our heated amenities block is maintained to a high standard and easily accessible from our camping pitches. Enjoy free hot showers, alongside hairdryers, shaving points and a laundrette with coin operated washers and dryers. We also have a number of family showers, accessible facilities and a baby change unit.
For your convenience there are a number of fresh drinking water and disposal points located throughout the campsite. There are also two washing up stations outside of the toilet block.
Fun for all the family
In addition to our well-maintained toilet and shower block, camping guests can make use of the wide range of family friendly facilities we have on site. Children will enjoy the adventure playground, slide and recreation field, offering plenty of space to play outdoor games with family or new found friends. Our camping tariff includes use of our indoor swimming pool, complete with slide and toddler pool – the perfect indoor entertainment to keep the kids busy come rain or shine.
If you’ve left something at home there’s no need to worry – our on-site shop sells a range of camping essentials as well as sweat treats and local produce. Stock up on food for your BBQ or camping breakfast.
If you’d prefer not to cook during your camping trip the Village Inn bar and restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious meals and local ales.
