Swanage Christmas Market is back for 2023! The popular annual event is set to take place on 2nd December 2024 and promises to be a great family day out!
The Swanage Christmas Market is one of Purbeck’s most cherished Christmas events. With the tradition of local traders lining the Station Road street set to continue this holiday season, we can’t wait to see what the organisers, Swanage & Purbeck Rotary, have in store for the market this year!

Festive fun for all ages
The market typically features merry-go-round rides and games, which children will love! Whilst the little ones are having fun, why not grab a hot mulled wine and really get in the Christmas spirit. Swanage is held in high regard for having delicious local food, and the Christmas Market loves to showcase this! Treat yourself to some delicious hot food… it’d be rude not to in the chilly December weather!
Grab yourself a bargain
Alongside festive food and drink, the market’s traders also provide a range of beautiful handmade gifts that you won’t find in high street retailers. There aren’t many presents more magical than a handmade gift from the Christmas Market. Make sure you’re on the hunt for a bargain!
Visit Santa’s Sleigh
The Swanage Christmas Market wouldn’t be complete without a visit from Saint Nick himself. Children will cherish the memory of visiting Santa’s Sleigh.
