The Swanage Folk Festival is back for 2025 and promises to be a spectacle for the whole family. Over the course of the 3-day event there will be a host of colourful dance displays, ceilidh’s and music workshops taking place at fantastic venues throughout Swanage town centre.
Live performances
There are plenty of live acts to look forward to over the 3 day weekend. The lineup is still being finalised, but if previous years are anything to go by, you’re in for a real treat!
The festival will also welcome dance sides from around the country. They will perform a variety of folk dances from England, Ireland, Bulgaria and Slovakia in traditional style clothing. Think bells, handkerchiefs and bright tassels!
Craft Fair
The market and craft fair is the place to go if you fancy indulging in some retail therapy over the weekend. There will be around 70 stalls selling a wide selection of goods from around the world, including jewellery, clothing, artwork and homeware. You’ll also find vendors serving delicious food and drink.
