Dancing Ledge is a natural rock formation, which is perhaps best known for its distinctive flat ledge and shallow ‘pool’. Historically, Dancing Ledge was used as a platform for boats to load stone – whereas today, this natural attraction is a hugely popular spot amongst visitors seeking breathtaking coastal views! It is also the perfect place in Dorset to learn more about the geological history of the area.

Old Harry Rocks
Old Harry Rocks is another stunning coastal formation you’ll find near Ulwell Holiday Park. This natural landmark is easily reachable via a scenic walk from Swanage, which also offers stunning panoramic views – which are perfect for taking a holiday selfie!

Similarly, although you can go for dips in Dancing Ledge’s ‘pool’, it is NOT safe to go swimming in the open ocean from Dancing Ledge.
