Purbeck Arts Weeks is returning for 2025 and is a must-see for guests staying in our holiday park in Swanage. This art festival in Dorset celebrates art in all its various forms and hopes to inspire visitors to embrace their creative side and participate in visual and performing arts.
The theme for 2025 is will be released soon. Over the course of the festival, there will be a fantastic array of artwork on display in studios, exhibitions and galleries across the region. More than 200 members take part every year with more than half exhibiting as part of a group show or open studio. There is usually a collective exhibition at Rollington Barn near Corfe Castle and the full list of artists and galleries exhibiting can be found on the Purbeck Arts Weeks website.
Local artists
One of the best things about Purbeck Arts Week is the variety of work on display! Local artists from across Dorset will showcase a range of different skillsets and mediums, including painting, singing, music performances, printmaking, ceramics, photographic, textiles, wood work and more – all guests are guaranteed to find something that matches their personal taste and area of interest.
Live music performances
For music lovers there will also be a varied lineup of live performances – musicians will confirmed soon.

Over the course of the two-week festival, there are a variety of exhibitions and live performances to attend. There are also a selection of workshops to take part in, where you can learn new skills and techniques.
Entry to all studios and exhibitions is free. Pick a programme to find a list of venues and addresses or look out for the yellow Purbeck Arts Week signs. If you plan on purchasing a piece of art during the festival please note that not all studios have a card machine.
