Swanage Regatta and Carnival is returning for 2024 and is set to be quite the extravaganza. The 8-day event will take place between 27th July – 3rd August and promises to be an exciting event for the whole family. Over the course of the week, there is a wide selection of unmissable activities and events to check out during your holiday in Swanage. These include live music performances, dog shows, fireworks and a traditional carnival procession.
Swanage Carnival week 2024
Carnival week is one of our favourite weeks of the year. If you’re looking for something to do whilst on holiday in Swanage, we highly recommend attending the Swanage Carnival as it’s wonderful to see Swanage come alive as thousands of visitors and locals enjoy the festivities.
In recent years the dedicated team of volunteers has significantly expanded the offering to include a whole host of family-friendly events. There are a variety of water and land-based activities happening throughout the day and into the evening.
Programme of events
The theme for this years carnival is ‘Jurassic rocks’.
Events for this years Swanage Carnival are as follows: carnival procession, bar & food stalls, three firework displays, show ground entertainment and stalls, live music and competition and games.
