Swanage Fireworks have been an important part of the town’s fabric for decades. In fact, the popular children’s author, Enid Blyton was once played an important role in their organisation!

Where can I watch the Swanage fireworks?
The Fireworks are let off from Banjo Pier, so you will be able to see them from anywhere on the seafront. Sandpit Field, Stone Quay and the Downs are also popular spots to take in the spectacle – you can even the see them from the hills behind our park!
Though the firework displays don’t start until 9.45pm, we encourage you to arrive early to secure your place – it gets extremely busy, especially at the weekends. Make an evening of it and treat the family to a meal in one of Swanage’s fantastic restaurants or tasty fish and chip shops.
On the Wednesday evening there is usually pre-firework entertainment from 8pm. In the past this has included live music and other exciting variety acts.
